ANGOLA

Gary & Elizabeth Wilkins- Implementing Partner

In Angola, the poor and rich alike need water as they recover from a 30-year war. Living Water International sponsored six wells in 2001 at a refugee camp which held more than 10,000 homeless Angolans. With the help of a national drilling team, Gary & Elizabeth Wilkins have drilled 23 wells in the Cuenene province around the capital city of Ondjiva. More than 1,500 boxes of school supplies and $150,000 worth of medicine were distributed. Approximately 27,000 people have been shown the Jesus film in four months and 3,600 accepted Christ as their Savior.

In 2005, 25 new wells were completed along with 13 well rehabilitations.

CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC

Jim & Faye Hocking- Implementing Partner

In 2004, Living Water International received its first direct grant from USAID to drill 15 new wells and rehabilitate 15 others in CAR, impacting an estimated 25,000 people. Integrated Community Development International, an existing in-country NGO, rehabilitated 15 wells, offering the gospel, health and hygiene education and HIV/AIDS education wherever they went.

ETHIOPIA

John Troup- Program Director

LWI volunteer Steve Rodgers initially traveled to Ethiopia to drill 2 wells in cooperation with Deleo Ocen from LWI's Uganda office. Approximately 100 people heard the gospel. John Troup has partnered with Kale Heywett Church to complete two water projects since partnering with LWI. We have also assisted Kale Heywet Church in Ethiopia by both equipping and consulting their Water and Sanitation Program. LWI's involvement in the Millennium Water Alliance has facilitated strategic relationships with USAID and UNICEF in Ethiopia. Through these relationships, eight new water wells were completed in 2004, bringing water and the gospel to more than 5,000 people in a dry and thirsty land.

In 2005, 12 new wells were completed.

GHANA

David Donkor - Implementing Partner

Sunyani
Rev. David Donkor and his ministry installed eight new wells in 2004 and rehabilitated another, providing clean, safe water to four communities. In March 2004, LWI hosted a mission trip to the Sunyani regions where Rev. Donkor operates.

In 2005, five new wells were completed in Sunyani.

Allan & Patsy Fulton - Implementing Partner

Tema
Since inceptions, APF- Living Water Ministries and their crew has completed 135 water projects. In 2004, 102 new wells were drilled.

In 2005, 78 new wells were completed in Tema.

KENYA

John & Tabitha Gichane- Implementing Partner

Nairobi
In 2004, LWI Kenya completed 35 new wells and rehabilitated eight. The Jesus film was shown at 203 locations and tracts were distributed to more than 10,000 people. More than 16,400 people were exposed to the gospel, with 850 recorded conversions and 109 people engaged in discipleship. LWI Kenya also provided counseling and held devotions for many hospital patients. Since inceptions 234 new wells have been completed along with 60 rehabilitated wells.

In 2005, LWI Kenya completed 66 new wells.

David & Becky Smith- Implementing Partner

Mombasa
LWI project managers and Assembly of God Missionaries, David and Becky Smith, operated an LS100 rig to provide clean water to villages surrounding the port city of Mombasa. Since inception 22 wells have been completed on the south coast of Kenya.

In 2005, two new wells were completed.

Paul & Florence Ligono- Implementing Partner

Kakamega
To date 26 new wells have been completed along with 4 rehabilitated wells. Approximately 2,700 people have been reached with the gospel. Paul has also raised funds through Serve International to build a three story educational where more than 350 students gather for school during the week and more than 800 people meet on Sunday for church services.

In 2005, twelve new wells were completed along with two well rehabilitations.

LIBERIA

Lloyd Lambert- Country Director

LWI was established as an NGO in Liberia in May 2004. In September, a team of six from LWI and LWI Carolinas began repairing water pumps destroyed by Liberia's 14-year civil war. Four pumps were repaired, returning clean water to nearly 3,000 Liberians.

Dr. Sunny & Florence Okorie- Implementing Partner

In 2004, Relief Network Ministries (RNM) was able to drill three new wells and rehabilitated two others. Partnering with other organizations, RNM has led 328 people to the Lord through evangelistic events this past summer. Since inception, 19 new wells have been completed along with four rehabilitated ones.

In 2005, RNM was able to drill eight new wells.

LWI Project

In Southern Sudan, one well was rehabilitated in 2004 in the village of Lohutok, serving an estimated 1,500 people.

In 2005, five wells were rehabilitated in Aweil, Southern Sudan.

TANZANIA

Tom Fontenot - Volunteer Program Director

Tom Fontenot has traveled to Tanzania since 1998 where, with the help of the nationals and Fr. Michael, 44 new wells were hand dug and cased with concrete rings and set with India Mark II hand pumps. Every opportunity is taken to share the gospel at each well site and the Jesus film was shown where location and time permitted.

Tom plans to return in August, 2006 to hopefully complete another fifteen wells. He would welcome volunteers to help in this program. For information, contact Tom at trfontenot@juno.com .

Lance Whyle - Volunteer Program Director

Project "Hannah's Hope" has the mission to provide clean water in Jesus' name by partnering with missionaries and villages. Lance is raising funds to purchase a drill rig. Until the funds are raised Lance is contracting the drilling through private drillers. One well was repaired in the village of Murumba. In June 2006, Lance will be looking for other wells to repair as well as trying to drill two boreholes.

Bob & Martha Wright- Implementing Partner

In 2004, Divine Waters completed 16 new wells and rehabilitated 20 wells. Two crusades were held in the Apac district along with 19 well dedications. A reported 567 people gave their lives to the Lord.

Lira - In 2005, 25 new wells were completed and 31 rehabilitated wells.

Nakapiripiri - In 2005, seven new wells were completed along with five rehabilitated wells.
