Ben & Susan - Implementing Partner
Northern India
In 2004, twelve new wells were completed by LWI-North India. Well sites are chosen in cooperation with local churches and medical missions, and the ministry is implementing literacy training in each of the villages which have received a well.
In 2005, 12 new wells were completed.
David & Helen Ongole - Country Director
Hyderabad
In 2004, Living Water India drilled 41 new wells in some of the poorest and most remote parts of India. Hindus in many Indian villages withhold the village water source from the Christians living there. As a result, Living Water India drills wells at Christian churches. Christians are able to drink clean water, but are also able to share their clean water with their neighbors and persecutors, thereby sharing the living water of Jesus Christ.
Dennis & Cindy Anderson - Field Representative
Tsunami Relief
After surveying the damage on 400-600 miles of coastal land in the Andhra Pradesh state the goal was to rehabilitate 100 water systems and provide durable goods to 600 Christian families that lost everything. Dennis Anderson, David Ongole and drilling crew spent 2005 rehabilitating and completing new wells along with durable goods being distributed to the families affected. For 2005, 181 new wells were completed and five wells were rehabilitated.
